Last year, Intel announced the latest Intel® Programmable Acceleration Card (PAC) with Intel Stratix® 10 SX FPGA. WASAI CEO Calvin Hung mentioned, “the specifications of Intel Stratix® 10 SX FPGA are all better than Arria® 10 GX FPGA. We estimate that the DNA sequencing solution on Stratix® 10 SX can be able to shorten 2 times of computation time.” More importantly, WASAI has demonstrated PAC with Intel Stratix® 10 SX live demo in Intel FPGA Technology Day (IFTD) 2019 Tokyo at the end of November, which was a one step closer to fasten the analytic time on genome sequencing.
