TAIPEI, TAIWAN, Oct. 30, 2020 – This past October 15th, we here at WASAI had the tremendous privilege of participating in the AppWorks Accelerator demonstration day, the largest entrepreneurial accelerator in Greater Southeast Asia (GSEA, ASEAN + Taiwan), and had the great honor of participating in the AppWorks Demo Day 2020 event.
Like most major events these days, the AppWorks Demo Day 2020 was affected by the Covid-19 situation. However, that did not deter organizers from allowing companies the privilege of demonstrating all the potential for the future that we are committed to striving for.
This year, instead of having two annual sessions of AW#20 and AW#21, it was all condensed into one larger event, which WASAI was successfully integrated into as part of the AppWorks Demo Day. It was truly a tremendous honor to be featured along with the other 23 bright and talented teams.
WASAI Technology uses the application of AI chips in accelerating large data in genome sequencing analysis. We here at WASAI are truly committed to innovating towards a future where genome sequencing can be reliable, cost efficient and as user friendly as possible. Our CEO Calvin Hung, demonstrated his commitment to the biotechnology industry to provide more high-performance data analysis solutions, which is a vision we all share and believe in.
We would like to give a big thanks to AppWorks for hosting the Demo Day and the unlimited rehearsal conferences that helped us tremendously during this event! This year is the 10th anniversary of AppWorks and the 5th anniversary of WASAI. We hope to work hard together on this path of innovation and look forward to all the opportunities to make that future a reality together.
